Chapter Eight - The Stranger
Episode Twenty Three

A cloud of sparkling dust slowly settles around the strange book as it yawns and stretches and grows.

"What's happening?" Kitty whispers, backing away.

The book takes on a new shape, like clay molding into a living sculpture. Limbs form, human limbs - arms and legs - but smoother, with a second skin wrapping the first in a soft purple sheen.

"I'm outta here!" Kevin shoulders past Ean, who is already edging toward the hole that leads back into the library.

"Wait!" Kitty points. "Look!"
